Happy holydays!
I hope everyone will have lovelly time!
I wanted to post this before it's too late. It's winter and i don't have many winter themed works, simply because it's rather difficult to find right stuff, BUT i tried very hard this time. AND DRAGONS. I wanted to do something with a dragon for so long!
This is going to be a bit of a problem to explain when i'll come down to resources and it will probably throw some people off to acepting this piece to some groups, but i shall try anyway!
The one thing that is complicated here is the model. I was looking for hours on here for something of that pose, but failed to find anything that fit my liking. So i was like "screw that, lets do this!" and used a pic of one of my fave signers as a reference. The dress (except for the armour part) and the arms are fully painted by myself, however, while i can somewhat paint things, i am way too unskilled for faces, let alone i, being dumb enough screwed the resolution and painting with a 1px brush when even that is too big, doesn't help to get anything done right either, so after like 6 tries and 2 days, i gave up and used the actual face from a pic. I tried looking for stuff to change it into on here but had no luck. Everything looked out of place. This is why others might not like it and reject any try of mine to submit that to any group. And i'll understand that. However, the end result is far away from how the original looks. I even had people asking what pic was it cuz they couldn't recognize it. I am just being fair and truthful here. Hope peope appreaciate that. And i don't claim anything as mine from that, nor am i gonna sell any pat of it.
ANYWAYS since i got that out of the way, this is probably a piece i spent the longest on.. It isn't anything out of this world but I literally went out of my way to do things for this, like painting quite some huge stuff in. I guess some competition from fellow artists ot me fueled to try something different.
